Just a friendly reminder & an update

This site is copyright protected (see notice to the left). That means no copying and pasting my site, no printing it's lovely pages without the Queen's authority (in case you didn't know... I'm the Queen. Ok, on to happy things... DNA testing is done! When we were going crazy with the photos yesterday I asked L (our social worker) if she would check on the DNA status. I was looking for a date for the DNA testing to take place. Imagine my surprise when I got the response that the testing had been performed and we should have results in a week! How cool is that?? We are just cruising along.

  2. Awesome news, it seems like things are moving along pretty quickly. It took us 4 months to get our DNA testing done (but that was because the city where Gabe was born wouldn't issue his birth certificate).

Here's to hoping you get out of Family Court quickly as well.

  5. Woo hoo. Dylan will be here in no=time (well, you know what I mean, "adoption no-time"). I'm glad things are progressing smoothly for you.

This is taralynne424 from the GDT. Although we don't talk much on the board, I've been following your journey to get Dylan. As an adopted child, I say thanks. It's wonderful that there are people out there that care so much for children. I know Dylan will be as lucky as I was to get wonderful parents.

  7. Behold! "The Cruising Queen"!
    Fantastic news!
Oh, and the copyright thing? Did you really mind that I copy/pasted your photograph & had it turned into a mural for my dining room? It's just that you're so adorable....I wanted to share your profile picture with my dinner guests? I'm sorry. I should have asked first:)

Oh my gosh! Congratulations! What a relief. It is VERY doubtful that the DNA won't be a match if the bm undergoes the testing. I know you feel so much better.
So somebody is copying your stuff? That is crap!

  9. Apparently - I understand that someone has been copying and pasting my posts and some comments as well as printing them out for personal use. I put way too much into my blog to have it stolen by some asshat. Know what I mean?
