So Sad

They found the little girl I posted about. They found her in a river and they said she had not drowned, that she was murdered and placed there. What the fuck is wrong with people today? How do you look at a child and want to hurt them? My prayers have gone out to this poor child and her family, her friends and her community. My prayers are also with my friends in England. I hope you catch the cowards who did this to you.

    Mine too. You know, I got sort of desensitized to stories like this..and to my own story of abuse. But now that I have my little girl, it is WAY up in my face. I can't imagine anyone could hurt someone like her. Everytime you see her you just want to hold her never let go. What is wrong with people? I plan on blogging about this soon, when I can gather my thoughts.

    My heart is with the family.

    Why do people hurt other people? The death of that little girl is sickening.
    London is a pretty crazy place to be today. My husband is in the police and thankfully he decided to go to work late and couldn't get in. However, he was picked up by car later in the morning and is now taking statements off injured people at one of the hospitals.

    Sadly, I think there are more sick people in the world than nice. It's scary. So very sad. And today's news from Europe is scary.

    This just breaks my heart.

    Ten years ago in the city I live in a 9 year old girl named Amber Hagerman was snatched right off of her bicycle in the middle of the day. A few days later she was found in a creek a few miles away. Her throat had been slashed after she was sexually assaulted. They never found the sick fucker that did it - and I still think about her and her family.
    It was her kidnapping that created the Amber Plan to alert the public about kidnappings of children.
    My heart is with this little girls family.
