This has been a shitty week
for my friends. First my friend Lisa and now my friend Liana has lost her baby at about 16 weeks. I spoke with her yesterday and the pain and anguish in her voice... I could feel it in my soul. My heart is breaking for her and her husband. Please go give her some love and support. She hasn't updated her blog yet and I wasn't going to post anything but there are some other bloggers pointing people her way so I figured I'd do the same.

Thanks for directing us to Liana. I did leave her a message. I think it is extremely important to offer support (even to strangers) when such tragic events take place. I was so heartbroken to read Liana's words. Can you imagine? It's a nightmare. In time, I'm sure she will draw strength from the kindness of friends & strangers. You did a lovely thing for your friend.

ReplyDeleteI just went back over to Liana's page. There are over 60 comments now and still going. The kindness and compassion of our cyber community is so humbling. I'm proud to be a part of it.
